Cori calls herself a politivist — a term she coined to describe the powerful union of politician and activist. The activist listens, stands with the people, and moves boldly where others hesitate. The politician holds the pen, wields the power of the purse, and turns grassroots energy into transformative policy. Together, these roles create a leader who not only hears the needs of the people but also acts decisively to meet them.
From standing on the frontlines in Ferguson to making history as the first Black woman to represent Missouri in Congress, Cori Bush has redefined what it means to lead with courage and conviction. Now, with the launch of Politivist Action PAC, she’s taking her vision for transformational change to the next level. As a "politivist," she blends the power of activism and politics to turn grassroots energy into transformative policy while refusing corporate money and fighting tirelessly for racial, economic, and social justice.
